Halifax Citadel Regimental Association (HCRA)

The HCRA supports programming at the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site of Canada. Established on July 10, 1993, it is a non-profit, charitable organization which works in partnership with Parks Canada.The main focus of the HCRA's program is the re-enactment of the 78th Highland Regiment of Foot and the 3rd Brigade, Royal Artillery. This extensive living history program runs year-round for visitors to the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site of Canada.

  • Have you met our ghosts yet? Ghost tour tickets go on sale this morning for August 24 25 and 26! As always Tickets can be purchased: -Between 9:00am - 4:00pm at either the front or back kiosks of the Citadel -At the front kiosk (facing the town clock) starting at 7:30pm the night of the ghost tour -Online through Eventbrite.ca links are below (online ticket sales close at 4pm the day of the ghost tour) Remember QUANTITIES ARE LIMITED (online and walk ups)! To ensure your tickets we recommend purchasing in advance. We will be holding Halifax Citadel Ghost Walks Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights starting at 8:30pm.
